Service Learning @ Pulau Ubin

so when to pulau ubin on good friday with fellow slc peeps.
its more personal because it was a small grp but nevertheless we had soooooo much fun.
took a car lift from atiqah with atikah and patricia
hahaha.the car ride is surely kecoh.we were excited over icka stories and jokes and cheers.hahah.
weilin (advisor) was first to arrive.so yah.haha.had breakfast first which i hadn't had.
was dam excited u see.first time to ubin mah.

i trade my day to PPP briefing to this damn adventurous trip.again i am sorry.
right after we reach ubin jetty we rent bicycle.i hadnt ride on one since like sec 2 or 3.
we were like speeding all the way down.and i will always remember the feelings.
went to put our stuff at our 'resthouse' its owned by the chinese uncle.a place ppl can rent to stay.there are chalets,but if u really want to have the kampong feeling,that is the place where u shud stay.
there were dogs.and it make us a lil uncomfortable.more like scared.almost all the time we were hiding behind melissa or weilin or mike or pat.it was really amusing.haha.we rested for like 10-15 mins then we continue to ride for the next few hours in search on a makcik's place.

i love that trip the most.we went into dirt road and had to cross over the muds.cool lah.i like it especially riding thru a smal path in de jungle to reach the makcik's place where we treat ourselves drinks that she sell.had small chats,more like a mini interview.and o my suprise there are only like 5-6 malay families left in the island.hahaha.after that..we really make ourselves at home.see those pics.we were there to play sepak takraw,capteh and badminton.before we continue our ride back to the uncle place.we cooked our lunch once we reached there..but after all the sharing and reflection session.cooking was my fave, but i kinda give it a pass since the dogs keep coming in to the kitchen.haha.i gave up and stayed away.haha.every minute my blood gushes up to my brain.played some lame games while waiting for the next programe.it was FUN.all the brainstorming and stuffs.and at 5.45pm we ride back to the jetty.to return the bikes cause it closes at 6.rest a while before making our way back to changi jetty.

overall it was more than just having fun.its more of a trip to feel syukur to whatever we have now.
like all these luxuries and facilities that allows us to be more relaxed and answer the nature call comfortably.when i was there,after hearing the makcik story, i realize, money doesn't make everybody happy.and how they really feel attached to the place and be contented with whatever they have.they never asked for more.they are really nice people.i love the trip soo much.









so yeah i had fun these holiday.
so off to do my assignment now.

i finally see my two hot twin!
daniel and elian
they are ubberly awesome.
and tomoro uncle anders ask me over to babysit.
yeah.
he asked whether i wanna earn some cash.so yeah man.
de last time i baby sit, he gave me abt $150
but it was an easy job.all they do is play and dun give troubles.not like other kids.
hahaha.weeee.bye.

and to you..thanks for hearing my trouble making decision the other day.
i noe you noe and i have said it.i am really thankful.
